Applying to Tide and worried about a gap in your CV? Don’t be
If you have a gap in your CV, don’t let it stop you applying for a job with us at Tide.
Many people had a tough time in 2020 and often this had nothing to do with their ability or potential.
We’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer so we want to remind you that when you apply for a job with us, we consider you individually. If you have a gap in your CV – for example, due to being furloughed, made redundant, taking time out to care for a relative or recovering from illness – write a note about this in your covering letter.
Tide is growing and we need more new Tideans to help us look after members and build new features and services. We’ll look at your experience as a whole and a gap in your CV won’t stop you being able to build your career with us at Tide.
Liza Haskell, Tide’s Chief Administrative Officer says:
“It might seem like an obvious thing to do but we want to encourage people to apply for roles with Tide. If you’re worried about how being made redundant or furloughed looks on your CV, don’t be. Don’t hesitate to apply.”
